Delete your EX5 account
How to permanently delete your EX5 Crypto Exchange account and what happens to your data.
01In the EX5 appSign in to the EX5 app, open Account → Settings → Delete Account, enter your password (and your 2FA code if two-factor authentication is on) and confirm. Your account is closed immediately and you can no longer sign in.
02By emailIf you cannot use the app, email info@ex5.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify that the request comes from the account owner and close the account within 30 days.
03Before you deleteWithdraw all of your balances first. A closed account cannot be reopened.
04What is deleted and what is keptYour sign-in access and profile are removed and your identity verification (KYC) profile with our verification provider is deactivated. Identity verification and transaction records that anti-money-laundering law requires us to keep are retained for 5 years after the account is closed and then deleted; nothing else is kept.
